Yosemite Half Dome Nocturn

This is the painting I worked on during David Lobenbergs watercolor workshop last Saturday. I'm thinking I should have made the sky darker and might go back over it. Had a great time learning tricks from a master.

Oscar for Obama

Oh, the dramatic performance is truly amazing. I expect the dramatics to continue for the next four years.

Reverand Al (Sharpton)

The Reverand Al Sharpton is a real ordained Baptist minister and social justice guy. He also worked for James Brown back in "the day" as a tour manager and Rev. Jesse Jackson as a Youth Director. I used to like listening to what he had to say until he joined MSNBC but, I think the network has really turned him into a nut job. A little sketching on a Monday. Trying to get a decent picture of this drawing on a dark and rainy day is a real challenge. This is the best I can do until the sun comes out.

House Finch - watercolor

This is Carpodacus Mexicanus commonly called the House Finch. These little guys are all over our backyard in the spring and summer, chirping, building nests and having babies and doing what ever they want. When it starts getting cold in the fall they fly south and spend the winter in Mexico. The male has the red color and the females are generally on the grey side. This is 5"x7" watercolor on 140lb. Kiliminjaro watercolor paper. If you'd like a print please visit my Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/BillsArtShop

I've seen lots of super heroes like Superman, Spiderman, Super Chicken and the like. Now comes Max The Super Elephant! Able to squash anything he sits on. And he flys too. There's nothing more dangerous than a flying elephant!
