A block from where we live is a little stream and marshland that I walk by almost every morning and I finally took the time to do a little plien air painting of the area. This is the view from a small bluff of the winding stream with blue vetch in the foreground. The California Poppies and lots of wildflowers are blooming so I'll be back for more painting. I spent about an hour getting this on canvas and made a few color changes when I got home.
