I saw this old 52 Chevy sitting on the pavement with the paint ground down to the metal, the back window missing and a large bunch of rust taking over and I thought it would make an interesting subject for a painting. Looks like this one had been abandoned and the new owner is in the process of bringing it back to life.

We always start the drawing session with some 3 minute warm up sketches, then some 5 minute sketches, then some longer 15 and 20 minute. I like the short poses because the drawings are more spontaneous. No time to think, just draw.
